Description: R.R. LOT: UP TOKEN,3~SIGNS,8~MAGNETS,3~LIONEL PINS,2~R.R. RECEIPTS & 2~AK. TOYS This auction is for the following diverse, very nice and HIGH QUALITY GROUP OF RAILROAD RELATED items: A) ~ A New York Central HIGH QUALITY PORCELAIN sign FROM ANDE ROONEY’S Sign Company, circa 1987. This is a very well-made sign, that was not an inexpensive, and “exudes”fine craftsmanship. ~ A Beautiful New York Central System reproduction sign by AAA Sign Company. All colors are bright and vibrant. The picture is apparently titled “TRAINS THAT PASS IN THE NIGHT…”. ~ A Ship Burlington Travel Railroad Train Embossed Sign featuring the Wood Burner of the 19th century, mighty Locomotive and the Zephyr. Made by AAA Sign Co. Coitsville, Ohio. All colors are bright and vibrant. These are really extremely nice items with the porcelain sign being reminiscent of the classic New York Central logo and signs. The tin signs are obviously newer reproductions of an old sign or billboard that the Train Companies used in days long past which beautifully illustrates the trains and the surrounding scene. In my opinion, these VERY COOL & GOOD LOOKING signs are in EXCELLENT, NEAR MINT CONDITION. B) Also included in this auction are the following VERY COOL AND GOOD LOOKING ITEMS: ~ 8 AMERICAN RAILROAD COMPANY LOGOS/ITEMS “FRIDGE” MAGNETS - ALL IN EXCELLENT CONDITION This is a TRULY “CHOICE GROUP” of great looking Railroad related “refrigerator magnets” that all appear to be in EXCELLENT overall condition. These magnets represent some of America’s greatest all-time RAILROAD COMPANIES including: UNION PACIFIC, GREAT NORTHERN RAILWAY, M K T, P R R & MISSOURI PACIFIC LINES. There is also a genuine LIONEL electric trains metal magnet along with a NEVADA STATE RAILROAD MUSEUM magnet from the museum in Carson City, Nevada. The Museum magnet comes in it’s unopened, original packaging so it is obviously in LIKE NEW CONDITION. Also included is a ceramic vintage scene of an old steam engine that is very nice. C) ~ This sale also includes a REALLY COOL AND GREAT LOOKING 1934 UNION PACIFIC “LUCKY PIECE” from ALCOA ALUMINUM CO. that states it is made from “A sample of the aluminum in the new Union Pacific Train built by Pullman Car and Manufacturing Corp.” These magnets and the Lucky Piece make EXCEPTIONAL display pieces and memorabilia collectibles for any train enthusiasts. For the most part, these are high quality, well-known and highly sought after railways, brands and items. There are no significant flaws or defects with any of these items that I am aware of or have detected. In my opinion, all of these cool Railroad Items are in EXCELLENT condition. D) This auction also includes the following LIONEL RAILROADERS CLUB items: ~ SET OF 3 VINTAGE LIONEL RAILROADER CLUB COLLECTIBLE PIN BACK BUTTON PINS. ALL APPEAR TO BE IN EXCELLENT CONDITION. E) This auction also includes the following historical and difficult to find items which, by their nature, are in very fragile and delicate condition, due to their age: ~ TWO VERY NICE (2) BROTHERHOOD OF RAILROAD TRAINMEN 1924? OFFICIAL RECEIPTS - VGC These are two (2) HARD TO FIND Official Receipts From the Brotherhood of Railroad Trainmen that appear to have been dated in 1924. These receipts, for the most part, appear to be in overall good condition, although they do show signs of wear consistent with their age and use. One of the receipts has a few slightly torn areas. While I can’t guarantee it; I did not observe any tears, or defects on the other receipt. However, it is possible that I did not see them. These are obviously, rather delicate, very old, thin paper items which must be handled carefully. Therefore, I had as little physical contact with them as I possibly could to prepare this listing. During the many years they have been in my possession, they have been stored in dark, dry and airtight conditions, which I believe helps account for their overall good condition at this time. However, please understand that these are fragile and delicate old paper items that have some flaws and defects already, and need to be handled carefully to avoid further damage in the future. F) ~ Lastly. this large group of items includes “TOY” souvenir items from the beautiful and historic SKAGWAY, ALASKA railway which are two (2) all wooden trains/whistles. One (1) of these great pieces of memorabilia is essentially IN NEW IN PACKAGE condition and is still tightly sealed in its original factory shrink wrap. The other one is not wrapped in its original plastic, but both of these have only been displayed and have not been used in anyway so they are in overall excellent condition. Both of these VERY NICE WOODEN items are very unique and good looking and they display beautifully and make great conversation pieces. I will defer to the photographs for your further assessment as to the description and condition of all of these items. Please Note: yardsticks and rulers shown in photos are not included in the sale! As is the case with all of my listings, these items are being sold “AS IS” and there are NO RETURNS AND/OR REFUNDS. I have always taken great pride in my collection, so most all of my items are in GREAT shape and have been very carefully taken care of in clean, smoke and pet free, climate controlled conditions. I am not a dealer in these items, so I am not in a position to offer returns or refunds. All of my items are being sold “AS IS” with no warranties or other assurances. Thus, please review all of the photographs very carefully for condition, measurements and other details PRIOR TO BIDDING. I have set an initial asking price that I believe is extremely reasonable for such a nice and extraordinarily hard to find items. Please don’t miss out on this great opportunity to add all of these to your collection. Thank you for your interest in my auctions.
