Description: This is Real Photo Postcard (RPPC), unposted and featuring a view of the residence that served as the summer White House for President William H. Taft in Beverly, Massachusetts during the summers of 1909 and 1910. Because of tourists and trespassers, the landlady, Mrs. Maria Evans informed the President that should would no longer rent to him and established a flower garden which is now Lynch Park in Beverly. She had the house cut in half, put on barges and floated to Marblehead, Massachusetts. Postcard circa 1910s.
