Description: Royal RS River States Oil Company Map of Iowa - 1959 Up for sale is an interesting Royal RS fold-out road map of Iowa issued by the River States Oil Company in 1959. River States was a regional oil company headquartered in Evanston, Illinois. Someone has circled many cities on the map in a variety of colors and shadings. On the cover of the map someone has written "Station Locations." I'm guessing that the cities circled had Royal RS stations, although I'm clueless as to the variety of colors and shadings. The map is in very good condition, showing almost no wear, except for a couple of very minor separations at interior fold junctions. The color is bright and the paper is firm. Thanks for looking.
