End papers have shadow transfers from dust-jacket. Light age-toning to external page edges and text pages. Text block is sound and internally clean with no foxing.Dust jacket is somewhat sunned overall, more so on spine, fore-edge folds and upper edges. Loss of 1 5/8" by up to 1/2" at head of spine and adjacent upper edges. Tail of jacket spine has loss of 1 1/8" by up to 1/4" across width, and with adjacent closed vertical tear of 1 1/8" along the front spine fold. Loss of 3/4" by up to 1/4" at upper left fore-edge corner of back panel, and with adjacent closed vertical tear of 5/8" along the back fore-edge fold. Upper right fore-edge corner of front panel has loss of 1/8" by 1/4" and with adjacent closed vertical tear of 1/2" along the front fore-edge fold. V-shaped chip on upper edge near right fore-edge corner of 1/4" by 3/8". Lower left fore-edge corner of back panel has loss of 1/4" by 3/8" and an adjacent 1/8" closed vertical tear along the back fore-edge fold. Lower right front fore-edge corner is rubbed and with loss of less than 1/4". All upper edges, including inside flaps, are curled and with shallow horizontal creases, chips and closed vertical tears of 3/8" or less - see photos. All folds are creased and scuffed; back spine fold has two closed vertical tears of 5/8" and 1/2". Three small rub-throughs on the front fore-edge fold, one on the back fold.
