Unlike standard flat tube tabs, these fit around both sides of the tube to distribute the stress over a much wider area. Flat tabs sometimes crack along the welds under high stress loads. We have never had one of these gussets develop a crack. They are approximately 4 1/8 long and 3 inches tall. They are .090 thousands thick.
