Description: ROLAND FANTOM X6/X7/X8 PCM Card Vintage Sound Collection: This is a ‘plug and play’ PCM/Flash Card that contains 256 patches from the original JV/XV-5080 Roland synthesizers. Roland made these classic sounds available shortly after the release of the Fantom X series synth however this has never been made available on an easy to load PCM Card that you just plug into the back of your Fantom and get instant access. I love what this has done to improve the sounds out of my Fantom X! I previewed all the sounds (Roland created 512 JV/XV patches however the Fantom X card holds a maximum of 256 patches in card memory) and put together what I feel is the best mix of 256 vintage sounds including e. pianos, pianos, organs, strings, fat synths, pads, bells and brass. This PCM/Flash Card has been formatted and loaded specifically for the Fantom X. (this listing includes 256 patches and both flashcard and PCM card so you just plug it in). I play in a 70s, 80s, 90s cover band and play worship at church and this vintage collection suits this perfectly. Frankly I was disappointed with he stock Fantom X organ sounds that come with the Fantom X. This card will give you many usable Hammond B3 organs sounds with a much better Leslie simulation. If you are a B3 fan, then that alone is worth getting this card! I also spent a lot of time looking at other available Fantom X sound on the internet and have included a few of what I consider the best available. In my humble opinion the sound patches are better than the SRX07 card commercially available for around $275. :o)This is a 256 MB card so lots of extra room for saving songs/sequences/samples etc. Feel free to text me with any questions.
