Description: Up for sale here is this recap kit for the Rock-Ola 48350-A and 48350-1A amplifier. This amp is found in the Rock-Ola 453, 454, 456, 457, 458, 459, 460, 461, 463, 464, 464, 465, 466, 467, 468, 469, 470, 471, 473, and 474 jukeboxes. At this point the amp is around 50+ years old, and the old capacitors are weak and failing. We will make them new again! This kit includes replacement electrolytic capacitors to replace all of the old electrolytic, tantalum, and can capacitors. It also includes instructions to explain how to install everything. The instructions will also go over some basics for working on tube gear. This does not include any tubes or other capacitors or resistors. New caps are Nichicon PW, Panasonic FC, Supertech axial, and one Epcos 3300 uf cap to replace the can cap. You will get the exact parts shown in the picture. These are all high-quality brand new genuine parts, the same parts I use when I work on vintage gear. The parts included are exact uf replacements, except that a few are a little are increased a bit. The old 2000 uf can cap is upgraded to a 3300 uf 100v cap, the old 1500 uf caps are replaced with 2200 uf 63v, 160 uf caps are replaced with 220 uf 100v caps, and the old 20 uf and 25 uf caps are replaced with 22 uf 50v. These mostly go higher in voltage compared to the originals--the new caps are 25v, 50v, 63v, and 100v. The old axial caps are replaced with new axial caps, and the old radial caps are replaced with new radial caps. The old can cap is replaced with a similar-sized 3300 uf 100v snap-in cap. I will include surprisingly well-written instructions (with a link to download a schematic), but this is somewhat complicated, and you should know what you're doing and have a decent soldering iron. This kit will not fix everything that could be wrong with your equipment, but it will certainly help. If you are looking for a kit for a different jukebox amplifier, just let me know.
