Gorgeous book, with beautiful full brown leather, gilt borders to front and back covers, spine with raised bands and extensive gilt decoration, marbled endpapers, inner gilt dentelles. All edges marbled. Front hinge barely starting at top, but binding still secure. Extremities rubbed a little. Beautiful copy of a still-fascinating book. Very lovely volume. Interior with less foxing than usual for this book.
