Description: Here is a 2008 edition of the Risk boardgame. Plus, some extra Risk pieces from an earlier edition of the game to the game box here. Things to note about this offer (please read carefully so you know what you're purchasing if you decide to do so): This 2008 Risk game has almost all the pieces....the cards, the dice, the written rules, the box, the Board and the factories. It's just that some of the military forces are missing a small amount of army pieces or units. The red army for instance has 33 single "army units" instead of the original 35 army units that go with the box. And I even have a photo of the red force missing a couple of pieces and comparing it to the yellow military force from the game. So having said that, I am adding some old Risk pieces from an older edition, (army pieces, cards, dice and an old rules manual) into this game box as a bonus to this purchase. I believe it's old Risk pieces from the 1980s version of Risk, where the Risk armies were represented by Roman numerals. So if by playing Risk 2008, and you're playing Red and you happen to run a little short on army pieces while playing, you can use some of the old Risk pieces if needed. Or, you if want to play perhaps a more traditional form of Risk without the arrows and factories, you have that option with this purchase. So with this purchase, you would get the 2008 Edition of Risk - That includes the 2008 gameboard and box,Rulebook, or files,The dice, Special game pieces like the factories and game cards, Army pieces which may be missing only a handful or few from the original amount. Plus, you'll be getting the old 1980 Risk pieces - which includes the territory cards, dice and old rule book. And the old Roman numeral army pieces -which are, at least, nearly the exact amount from the original 1980 edition. Note: the old 1980 Risk board does not come with this purchase.
