Richard Seymour Game Used Worn New England Patriots NFL Silver 2005 Jersey COA

Description: NOTE: Added photos of repairs that are under the armpit. Only recently saw that they were there which was a very cool discovery. For sale is newly NFL Hall of Famer and Patriots legend Richard Seymour’s game worn photo-matched 2005 silver jersey. This jersey is a clear photo-match to October 2, 2005 game vs the Chargers which he had 3 tackles in. This jersey was sold years ago by the Patriots Pro Shop as issued even though it was in fact worn which isn’t the first time I have seen this done with the Pro Shop. Comes with their Certificate of Authenticity from the Patriots Pro Shop as well as an additional letter of authenticity from Dave Miedema verifying it as game worn by Seymour acknowledging the signs of wear. The jersey has multiple repairs under both armpit areas and small paint transfers on the small shoulder numbers as well as what looks like a possible blood spot which I have provided closeup photos of. Also signs of pilling which is from friction on the side nylon material. The jersey has custom velcro patches on the front of the jersey which was common with Seymour’s game jerseys. These silver alternate jerseys were only worn by the Patriots between 2004-2007 and worn once a year expect for one year so are really rare to come by. Seymour was just inducted into the NFL Hall of Fame. He is a 3X Super Bowl Champion and 7X Pro Bowler. Awesome chance to own a great piece of history from a legend!!
