REVERSIBLE Antique English Jacquard weave curtain drape c 1900 heavy weight bro

At the time of listing, I have the matching panel , to view simply search my store for " English Jacquard" It just didnt photograph as well as I thought it would! So, this is an antique English curtain, dating from around 1900. Its fully reversible , absolutely GORGEOUS on each side! What doesnt really show well in the photographs is the gold threads, which cause this panel to glisten, sparkle as it catches the light!! Its just sooooo wonderful! The gold thread it woven as the weft thread , its just gorgeous!! This panel is a very heavy weight cotton, with warm neutral tones ~ One side has a warm beighy toned ground and the other is chocolate brown. Each side could be used as well as the other! Someone put the curtain rings about 18 inches from the top, so when it was hung it created its own valance! The rings can be taken off or still used as they did ( please see the photograph of the top turned over as a valance. This is a stunning textile !!! Ideal for hanging or lovely too used for upholstery on a large sofa etc ~ MEASUREMENTS: This textile measures approximately: Width: 50 inches Length: 112 inches CONDITION: This panel is faded with time on the paler of the two sides ( as photographed ) Its generally in stunning condition, but the fading is present.
