Description: NEOVENATOR Possibly the UK's biggest killer dinosaur. It once roamed the areas of Southern England around 120 million years ago, preying on the herds of Iguanodon and also, I would imagine, the numerous long necked sauropods that were around at this time. It is related to the T-Rex busting Carcharodontosaurus. Dinosaur skin 'from a mummified hadrosaur' Name: Hadrosaur - duck billed dinosaur - Edmontosaurus. Location: This original fossil (as can be seen in the final picture, not for sale) came from South Dakota, USA - Hell Creek Formation. Size: Length –aprox. 7.5 cm long. Geological Age: Upper Cretaceous aprox. 70 million years ago. Condition: Isn't it amazing that the soft tissue and skin can from a majestic dinosaur like this can be preserved after all those millions of years? Well, that's what we have here. The dinosaur must have died and been mummified/dried out prior to being instantly covered by river deposits prior to fossilization and not been subjected to decay, being eaten or erosion. Incredible. The delicate details to the scales that formed the skin can be seen clearly in this example. Included in the final picture is the exact fossil that this replica comes from.
