Units that have been damaged due to negligence on the part of the installer are not covered under warranty. Be sure that the vehicle is free from any starting issues not related to the starter before installing any starter into a vehicle. Issues that can mimic a faulty starter include but are not limited to:-Faulty/defective or poorly charged battery-Poor battery terminals and cables. Check the ground side as well !!!!!!-Corroded, frayed or loose cables and connections-Engine issues (seized /locked engine or timing problems)-Fuel delivery issues, including lack of any fuel.-Loose or corroded pigtail wire (from ignition).-1 Year warranty . WARNING!!!! Some of the most common problems that cause "Warranty" issues are over-tightening of the electrical terminals when units are being installed. DO NOT use impact (air-driven) tools to tighten electrical connections on starters. Additionally, Overcranking, which is caused by trying to start the vehicle for an extended period of time (greater than a few seconds) because of lack of fuel at the motor or a weak battery can cause the starter to burn up from overheating.It is the buyer's responsibility to verify that this unit fits the vehicle's application.
