RARE/VINTAGE/OOP. ***NOTE: THIS IS THE 1987 VINTAGE DECK*** The Renaissance Tarot deck comprises 78 cards in full color. The 22 Major Arcana cards feature all twelve deities of Olympus plus other classical gods and demi-gods. The four suits in the 56 Minor Arcana are represented by four classical myth cycles with an interlocking system of planets, constellations, seasons, and elements. The card descriptions include the Greek and Roman names of each deity and the attributes of each figure. The Four Great Cities of Renaissance Italy are represented among the suits: warlike Milan is depicted by swords, artistic Florence by staves, watery Venice by cups, and ancient "eternal" Rome by coins. This unique and collectible deck consists of 78 cards and a small booklet. Open box. The cards are in pristine condition.
