I start with climbing rated tubular webbing, and 1/4'' high grade bungee cord and all the sewing utilizes thick UV rated Nymo thread. All one has to do is pull on the righting line and it will stretch to maximum length. The wide webbing provides a comfortable gripping surface to right your capsized craft.  I have shipped our righting lines all over the world and we stand behind it. Thats why its called the Ultimate Righting Line. The righting line will snap back around the pilons on a 14 or 16 . Hobie 18, 20, nacras etc can use this in various ways without any slack, and wraps around the port and starboard side to allow righting from either side of the boat . I have sold hundreds of these righting systems since I have offered them on ebay, I am still using the prototype I designed back in 2000.
