Increase Your Strength! How To Use A Snatch Block for Winches A lot of off-road recovery snatch blocks have two rotating sides. To properly position your winch line, make sure the top part is rotated to fully expose the interior pulley. Now, with a D-ring, attach the non-pulley part of the towing snatch block to an anchor point. If you are recovering yourself, you can attach the line back onto the front of your vehicle and perform a double line pull.
