Description: Recollections Comics The Red Demon 1990 VF/NM Golden Age Reprints Of Rare Hero. Created by Bill Draut, this was to be a backup series for Simon & Kirby's Stuntman comic which was cancelled before publication. The four stories that where written by a now unknown wrier and drawn by Draut ended up in Black Cat Comics. Judge Straight, the youngest judge in the state, wanders the streets late one night after the wife of the man he sentenced to death criticized him for too closely following the letter of the law instead of his heart and being out of touch with the downtrodden. Straight finds a demon costume and while thus dressed he finds evidence. Taking this a a good sign he keeps the costume and wears it from time to time to investigate crimes he could not as a setting judge. This comes from my personal collection. Has been read and ultimately bagged and stored these many years. Bought this off the rack bck in 1991. Page color is generally white to off white. I'm not a professional grader but have sold numerous books with no problems. Check out pictures closely. Interior photo indicative of the interior pages of the whole.
