Description: SoniaMcD's Reclaimed Treasures--Sterling Silver Glass Bead Pendant This pendant is a unique piece of jewelry in my Reclaimed Treasures Collection—Old jewelry given new life! The square and circular silver piece on the bottom is from an old sterling silver earring that was missing its mate. I removed the hook and added a longer piece of sterling silver wire that was made from old sterling silver jewelry that I melted down. I threaded a 10 by 12 mm rectangular glass bead with silver tone trim onto the wire along with a 1.5 mm sterling silver ball beads above and below the glass bead. I fashioned the bail from the remainder of the wire. The piece from the old earring had marcasite stones set into it, with a couple of the missing. I pulled the remainder of the marcasite stones and replaced them all with clear rhinestones. Pendant is 1 3/8 inches long and weighs 2.5 grams. Please check out my store for other jewelry listings!
