Rebuilt Mercedes 1967 230 SL Power Brake Booster

Description: Customer will mail in their 230SL brake booster for rebuilding. The customer should mail it in with the 90 degree plastic swivel fitting still attached to the booster. Your booster will be gone through and any worn parts replaced, seals renewed and both metal shells will be powdercoated inside and out for a durable chemical resistant finish. Note: There is an approximately 2-3 week lead time on rebuilding this booster once it is received. The 40 business day handling time accommodates for shipping time to/from my shop location to your address. Each booster is vacuum/leak/smoke tested prior to shipment and will operate as good as new and will be well packed and protected for shipment. WARRANTY: 1 year exchange-only warranty in the unlikely event that there are any defects. Warranty is only valid if the buyer installs a brand new (or rebuilt) master cylinder at the same time of brake booster replacement. In the event of any warranty claim, the buyer MUST provide a dated receipt from a licensed mechanic and/or auto parts store) clearly showing purchase of the master cylinder, for warranty to be valid. The reason for this condition is that many of these cars are running on very old master cylinders and these can leak and is the cause of damage to the booster and can leak into the booster, causing damage to it, so if you only replace just the booster, frequently the problem can re-occur if you don't get to the root of what caused the booster to fail in the first place. You will also need to make sure your vacuum line to/from the booster is working properly and has a good check valve and if you have a diesel, the vacuum pump must output the proper vacuum levels to supply the booster.
