Description: CONDITION: V from 1954 this is an original BLUES R&B record, written and performed by ARTHUR GUNTER on EXCELLO 2047 with "BABY LET'S PLAY HOUSE" which was recorded about one year later in a Rockabilly version by Elvis Presley on the SUN label -- Sam Phillips, Sun Records head, described Gunter's version as "perfect imperfection" due to its loose and Country Blues feel -- to my ear both songs versions are excellent but couldn't be more different comparing the Excello to the very tight, well produced Sun version -- on the flip side is "BLUES AFTER HOURS " on this 10" 78 rpm release -- please see photos for overall condition This record will be securely packed in a new 12x12x4 box sandwiched between cardboard stiffeners and floating in a paper fill.Combined shipping offered.
