This glove is for the RIGHT handed thrower as the glove fits on the LEFT hand ! I personally think this will make a perfect catchers mitt for a large or advanced youth who is catching pitchers throwing at a high velocity ! The glove will also work well for an adult ! This glove is thick, it is heavy ( it weighs 1 pound and 12.3 ounces ) , it is very well padded, it is broken in and game ready ! So it’s heavy and thick and if you have pitchers throwing at a high velocity this mitt can withstand the heat ! This mitt also has an incredibly deep pocket as you can see in the photos ! So once the ball enters the pocket of this mitt it is not going to pop out ! Checkout the 4th and the 5th photos how the glove just wraps itself around the baseball and the 6th photo how the glove looks in the closed position without a baseball in the pocket while the 7th photo also shows how the glove wraps itself around a full size 12” round softball ( so you can clearly see that this mitt is not designed for softball ) ! The inner lining is in excellent condition as the glove is extremely comfortable to the hand and the fingers all the way up through the finger stalls ! As far as fitting goes, this glove is tight fit on my average adult size hand ! So if you have thick or large hands this glove may not work for you ! There is no ink or marker anywhere on the glove !
