Description: U.S. Navy Ka-Bar Fighting Knife measuring 12" OAL with a 7 blade. Good condition overall with age patina, wear, use, scratches, parkerized finish has faded, some scattered dings on leather handle, tight guard and handle. Ricasso area of the blade is stamped, "KA-BAR OLEAN N.Y./USN". Ka-Bar made nine variations of the USN Mark 2 knife during WWII. This one is the first generation Ka-bar, and it is the only Ka-bar USN Mark 2 that is stamped "OLEAN N.Y.". on the ricasso. All subsequent variants are just marked Ka-bar.
