Description: This WW2 JAPANESE OFFICERs HAT , has been kept in amazing shape,by an unusual ,japenesed black & red hat holder ,that had to be a private hat holder ,formed and shaped to the hats design, it has a place for the circular part of the hat, then it has the bill part , formed exactly to fit it, very unusual design. The hat carrier has kept the hat in amazing shape , a few lines on the bill from being warm , maybe Pacific theater campaign. There is a carrying handle and a latch with a area to slide a lock on. This is not the run of the mill hat and case ,it is next level purchased by someone with money. I have bought several ww2 hats in this collection so look at the other, there are some german so I can not show them, these are either mint or close to. The hat is signed on the inside ,not sure if it's the maker or the owner, more likely the owner.
