Description: Rare & unique WALBORG clutch purse, beaded & embroidered evening bag with chain, early 1940s This WALBORG clutch purse is hand-beaded & hand-embroidered with amazing workmanship. The front circular embroidery depicts a serene garden setting with a woman seated on steps, holding a young girl. A male figure stands beside with outstretched arm. Mountain scene in distance. White opalescent beads surround the embroidered design. Frame: gilded. Chain: gold tone, beautifully woven and intact. Clasp: double bow design with clear crystal accents (one round crystal is missing). Clasp opens and closes very well. Interior: Crème Silk lining with 2 slip pockets. Width: 7 1/2 inches Height: 5 1/2 inches (not including woven chain) Condition: Extremely fine vintage condition. All original.
