Description: *Rare* Vintage Vestal Fathom Kinetic Movement Watch FTH004 No Batteries Needed. This is like an automatic but better in my opinion. Automatics you have to keep wearing to keep them ticking, a kinetic movement watch has coils that can hold the self generated power for months. This watch starts in a limp mode (if dead) moving 2 seconds at a time. After a few minutes of moving around with it it will tick normally. Specs 46mm case with silver face Excellently weighted in my opinion Polished stainless steel case and band Crystal is flawless, no scratches. Vestal has gone out of business and these are discontinued items. So if you hate it when everyone has what you have….. this is something they’ll have to really hunt for as they don’t show up online often, ensuring you a great sleek and professional diving watch with amazing ratings from watch experts that very few people can own besides you. The watch is a Seiko YT58B 6 Jewel Kinetic Movement, so parts and repairs in the future are easily done here on eBay, the movement is $60(not including labor) and Crystal replacements are anywhere from $40-$75 in my experience, depends on jeweler) This watch is part of my collection that I didn’t wear, That’s not to say they haven’t been worn so they are listed as pre-owned. All of my Vestal Fathom watches I have listed here on eBay including this one, is/are in top condition. Though they may have some light wear from storage and or moving over the years, some may even need to be opened and cleaned with a cloth to get that one spec of dust out, but you’ll love this watch once you put it on, won’t take long to get some compliments either, these are a beautiful watch design.
