Description: Letting more of my personal collection go. Very rare pair of Jackson 35lb crosshub 1A plates. Both plates lathed by Andy Jackson himself. These are from his early generation 3 sets around the 1950’s/1960’s. Andy Jackson had two Olympic set options regular non lathed non 1A and he had his higher quality 1A sets. These sets were hand picked and lathed by Andy himself to the correct weight. Once Andy Jackson sold the company in 1976 the new owners still made his plates but with some variations. The top of the hubs and top of the rims were machined. These are called Erie,PA versions as this is where they were made after Andy sold his company. A pair of these Erie,PA 35’s were available and sold on eBay in recent weeks. These 35’s are not the Erie version but a pair Andy Jackson worked on himself. Both plates are in amazing condition, no cracks, hubs are good with no cracks or damage. I can provide as many pictures as requested. These will ship with UPS simple rate.
