Description: for sale here is a lovely little item , its a vintage hardy reelmakers jig/tool for lining up the screw holes for featherweight and orvis reels like CFO although will probably do many other reels too , actually stamped on front "featherweight latch cover screw" and also "orvis" on the side , see pics on how its used by inserting the central pin into the spindle hole on the spool , there is a removeable and reversible pin for probably use with other reels , a really lovely little vintage hardy item , god only knows how many reels were done with it..a proper little part of hardy history....please see my other listings of hardy and other vintage fishing items this week......please also view more excellent items on my other ebay account , ebay username is w666fly if you buy a reel from me , you can be sure it has been through my workshop , lines removed , fully cleaned and serviced and any worn or damaged parts replaced with new ones , so no loose handles , no chewed up screws , no spool wobble or spindle wear , no bent or filed feet , no worn pawls , no loose rivets or missing parts , good tight springs and always described exactly as i see it , i do all the hard work so you dont have to worry about getting an inferior reel obviously the more vintage reels may have little flaws such as worn screw heads or paint wear or scratches etc but all items will be fully photographed and described correctly , if you are unsure then please contact me..
