Description: Rare Vintage 1950s 4 oz Bottle of Blue Carnation Eau de Toilette by Rogers & Gallet which was launched in 1937. A wonderful spicy fragrance of Carnation, Clove, Anise, Pepper, & Vanilla. This extremely rare bottle has been opened, but has a secure screw on cap, & is a generous 75% full. It is easy to screw cap on & off. Bottle closes securely. Rare NOS Carnation Talc Powder c1970s also by Rogers & Gallet is included - they compliment each other both being carnation & can be worn together. Amt. in Talc box not labeled - I estimate 3.5 0z / 100g - as I have another R & G Talc in similar container that is labeled. This wonderful vintage bottle of spicy Blue Carnation EDT has been in my family since the 1950s. It still smells wonderfully like a fresh carnation. This bottle is very rare in the large 4 oz size - a heavy, geometrically-shaped, rectangular glass bottle, w/shiny gold-tone top cap, is in excellent condition with just a bit of wear to its gold cap. The label is in excellent condition. The base is embossed: Roger and Gallet. This is a strong spicy perfume & little applied to the pulse points goes a long way. Label says "made in France." CATEGORY
