Description: Rare Vintage 1930s Galindo Mexico Sterling Silver Shadow Box Screw Back Earrings. This is a magnificent set of sterling silver screw back earrings that was hand wrought in Mexico, circa 1930's to mid 1940's. This set is masterfully crafted in a very dramatic design that has a great art nouveau look. The earrings have a dimensional silver dome that has hand incised designs and feminine scroll flourishes. The sterling silver has a warm patina that only age can bring. This gorgeous set is made in an elegant and artistic design that will always be fashionable. They are extremely well made and highly collectible; heirloom quality. They measure approximately 1" in diameter. The backs are signed and marked: Galindo Mexico 925. These vintage sterling silver hand wrought Galindo earrings are in very good condition, as shown in the photos. They have some very minor surface wear, age-appropriate oxidation and may need cleaned.
