Description: ARTIFACT: This is a rare World War II American Theater Wing badge in sterling silver. The creator of the Tony Award, the group was a part of the World War II Allied Relief Fund which encouraged theatrical education but also supported servicemen and families of veterans. The badge is a wing with a blue mask at center. VINTAGE: Circa World War II. SIZE: Approximately 15/16” in height and 2-7/16” in width. CONSTRUCTION/MATERIALS: Gold-plated sterling silver with enamel. ATTACHMENT: Horizontal pin with come-under locking swivel catch. MARKINGS: None.
