Description: In the 1990's, some complex deals were made for James Cameron to direct a Spider-Man movie. Obviously, it never happened. If you do an internet search, you can read the story about how the deal turned into a mess. Early in the process, Cameron wrote a 57-page "scriptment" that is mostly a treatment with a few bits of dialogue included. This is a Spider-Man we've never seen, where Peter is not so virtuous or easy-going, and where he and Mary Jane end up making love on the Brooklyn Bridge. Spidey ends up battling Electro and Sandman in what would have been a much more epic fight than anything yet seen. All the pages of this document are stamped twice with SM 001 (see photo). It's still easy to read. The scriptment is in very good condition.
