Description: This antique art pottery bowl by Roseville is a hard to find piece in the Donatello pattern. With a beautiful rolled edge design and an adorable cherubs motif, it is sure to be a conversation piece. Made in the United States in 1916 this Donatello collection piece does not disappoint. Early pieces of this were unmarked as this one is. There are a few small nicks along the underside of the rim that look much worse in the close up pictures than they do in the actual piece. As you can see in the picture of the underside, they are not that visible but I did want to point them out. I'm also pointing out a spot in one of the lines in the front that appears to have been from the mold when it was cast. Pieces of Roseville Donatello with limited crazing are highly sought-after by collectors and bring premium prices. All in all, a great hard to find piece for serious collectors of this Roseville pattern.
