Description: For your consideration is this Rare Matching Pair of Vintage Wheaton Glass Embossed Ammonium Hydroxide Laboratory Jars with their Original Stoppers This is a rare opportunity to buy a matching pair of DIL (diluted) and CON (concentrated) Ammonium Hydroxide laboratory bottles in all original and outstanding condition. Both of these bottles were produced by the Wheaton Glass Company, although one (DIL) is clearly marked "Wheaton" while the other (DIL) is clearly marked "T.C.W. Co." which stands for T.C. Wheaton. These are all original and all glass, including the stoppers. These were laboratory used, as one still has an applied sticker on the back (picture #4) showing that it once contained distilled water, not nearly as exciting at Ammonium Hydroxide I assume. Being used, these are in extraordinary condition, far better than anyone would assume. The glass is very clean and clear.The ground embossing is very nice.The stoppers fit perfectly, as they should because they were made for the bottles, and they place and remove with ease. Including the stoppers, the bottles stand about 7 inches tall and the base is about 2 1/2" across.The bottles weigh about 9 ounces. Just for informational purposes, I actually have a set of 8 of these bottles (including these two) of different acids:Pair of DIL and CON Sulfuric AcidPair of DIL and CON Nitric AcidPair of DIL and CON Hydrochloric AcidAll are Wheaton and all are complete and in the same general condition...
