This extremely rare and original vintage poster by Gary Overacre harkens back to the exciting, early days when UNIX was starting to make inroads into the business world. It is the first of three Unix-related posters commissioned by Unitech Software. This classic UNIX Magic poster by Gary Overacre features a white bearded wizard with UNIX related objects around him, for example a spool of thread, a black cat, a boot, a fork, pipes, buckets, a number of containers labeled with abbreviations like tar, null, ask, us place, ru. There is even a “C” container and a partially obscured and broken “B” container. The Wizard is pouring mysterious liquids into a giant shell. The poster was obtained by a customer of Unitech Software while attending a USENIX conference. There are some defects, specifically:A small hole in each corner. This was from the thumbtacks used to display it.Some scratches along the bottom of the poster. Other items to note:The poster measures 36”x24”.It is unframedShipping is FREE!
