Rare Obsolete PRR Track Mounted Caboose 477802 - New Bright Industries Caboose

Description: This extremely rare track mounted Pennsylvania Railroad (PRR) Caboose 477802 as shown in the first attached photograph was sold by the New Bright Industries Company LTD in 1986. My Father who worked for the PRR, Penn Central and Conrail obtained this Caboose as a display piece for their living room in their smoke free home in Altoona, PA. This caboose has an internal light which worked perfectly as a “Night Light” for our kids when we visited my parents when they were younger. My Father would carefully relocate the caboose from their living to the dresser in their guest bedroom to make the room more comfortable for our kids before they fell asleep. The view of each side of the Track Mounted PRR Caboose is shown in the first through fourth attached high resolution photographs. The specifications on the Track Mounted PRR Caboose are as follows: The track's length as shown in the first attached photograph is 11 inches. The track's width as shown in the third attached photograph is 3 3/4 inches. The Caboose length as shown in the first attached photograph is 11 1/2 inches. The Caboose width as shown in the third attached photograph is 3 1/4 inches. The Caboose's roof width as shown in the third attached photograph is 3 1/2 inches. The Caboose's height from the bottom of its wheels to the top of the roof edge is 3 3/4 inches. The Caboose's height from the bottom of its wheels to the top of the observation roof edge is 5 inches. This Track Mounted PRR Caboose also contains an interior light as shown illuminated in the fifth attached high resolution photograph. The light is a 7.5 watt bulb that has an on/off switch within the power cord as shown in the sixth attached high resolution photograph. The Track Mounted PRR 477802 Caboose was sold by the New Bright Industries Company LTD in 1986 and manufactured in Hong - Kong as engraved on the bottom of the plastic train track as shown in the seventh attached high resolution photograph. All contents are made of plastic. Tremendous care was taken to properly preserve this extremely rare Track Mounted PRR Caboose which is in excellent condition as shown in the attached photographs.
