The action has been beautifully refurbished with new German Abel hammers. The action has been regulated to play lightning fast, and responsive to the most gentle touch. We also put in new agraffes which assures proper string termination for a clean tone. The case has also been refinished with the same type of sprayed lacquer finish these pianos originally had, which is hand-rubbed for a lustrous depth of appearance. The plate has also been re-gilded and all the metal parts have been replated. So the piano looks as good as it sounds.
