It shows in the style orientalist , considered the painter of the Protectorate Spanish , and painted landscapes of Morocco and the daily life of its inhabitants. When settled in Tetouan , where he remained until the end of his life he became inspector Services of Fine Arts, and directed the School of Fine Arts in Indigenous Tetuan , while leading the artistic direction of several journals and magazines and multiplying partnership creations of posters and postage stamps . Its important activity of teaching and the traditional cultural heritage defense was a major contribution to the cultural development of Morocco during the Protectorate .
