The book is a first edition, original copy, the text is in French and was written by Pierre Mac Orlan and illustrated by Hector Large.The few blemishes are: a small light stain on top of the folder, with some cracks on it's flaps (see pictures), no plates or text pages are affected. All pages are in excellent original condition.This copy is from the inventory of an art gallery in Manhattan, NYC from the 1940s and has been in storage since the 1990s.This book is a fascinating glimpse into the military uniforms of the French army and makes a great addition to any collection.
