Description: RARE! Large Antique 19th Century Manises Bowl - Spain Primitive and striking, this antique bowl is in good condition with no cracks, crazing, or scratches. It has two small rim chips, some pitting, and age appropriate wear [see magnified photos]. Hand painted and glazed, the center of the bowl has a yellow bird encircled with blue designs and 2 blue borders. The walls of the bowl are decorated with yellow, blue, and green vegetation that is divided into 12 sections by blue stripes. The top of the bowl has a blue border as well as a blue rm.
