Description: Presented is a very large silver ladle made in America during the early 19th century. The T & H mark on the reverse side of the handle represents Taylor & Hinsdale of New York, who were in business for only 10 years, from 1807-1817. This ladle was obviously made during this short time period. At the top of the handle is a monogram in beautiful old script which reads ECK. The ladle is in great condition. There is only very minor surface wear commensurate with age and light use. There are no dents, no breaks, no splits, no monogram removals, no repairs and no other problems of any kind. The ladle measures 13 3/4 inches long. The ladle weighs 188 grams or 6 troy ounces. Powered by SixBit's eCommerce Solution
