Description: HOW TO MAKE BETTER PICTURES IN YOUR HOME HERBERT KEPPLER 1962 HB 1st ED This book is cracked inside in front and back at the spine. The covers have a lot of wear but are completely readable. Former owner’s circular imprint on a page at beginning of book. All the pages are intact together and are clean, unmarked and full of great information that is helpful to photographers even today. Info includes how-to’s on portraits, groups, children, pets, candid, action, B&W and color. This book is extremely rare and currently the only one I can find on the market. He also wrote “Keppler on the Eye-Level Reflex” among other books. Photojournalist, columnist, photography consultant, publisher and author, Keppler devoted his career to publishing helpful tools for photographers, especially amateurs. In this guide, he tells folks that they don’t need photo gadgets and charts to take great pictures in their own homes using natural light and regular table lamps, from family and friends to pets. Keppler (1925-2008) was perhaps the most gifted and honored journalist in the photographic field. His career as a photo magazine writer, editor, editorial director and publisher spanned more than 57 years, beginning in 1950 as an associate editor at Modern Photography.
