Description: The 1954 Milan Indians basketball team was the inspiration for the classic 1986 movie Hoosiers. Known as the “Milan Miracle," this high school basketball team became the smallest school ever (enrollment of only 161) to win a single class state basketball tournament in Indiana (beating heavily favored Muncie). The next day 40,000 people descended on Milan (population 1,150) as the team returned home from Indianapolis. This Hoosiers (approximately 39x25") movie poster has been signed by 11 of these 1954 team members. As with everything we sell, authenticity is critical and this item is no exception. An A&R Collectibles hologram of authenticity is included on the poster Buyer will receive actual signed poster displayed in our images. Very slight edge flaw (please see our images).
