Description: Beautiful and intricate example of the famous German porcelain company C.G. Schierholz. In later years known as Von Schierholz. This is a large and impressive centerpiece featuring two figures drinking chocolate. Roses cover the reticulated basket at the top and cascade down to pool around the feet of the figures. The piece is marked with the classic blue "tic tac toe" symbol on the bottom. This marking dates the piece between 1865 and 1907. A breathtaking antique porcelain piece that is one of a kind and you will not find another like it. The Von Schierholz porcelain factory was established in 1817 in Plaue, Thuringia, Germany. The factory produced high-quality Dresden ware and is most famous for its Rococo, ornate Meissen-like, and Secession style decorated porcelain.Measurements:Height- 15.5''Width of basket- 10.5''**Please note…The item featured is not new…it is antique and therefore will have some of the imperfections that are expected with age and history.
