Several detailed, amazing fold-out illustrations - see photos of some. Exceedingly rare and complete set. Through my research I can find only one other complete set in existence, its condition is not as good as this one, and its asking price is a significantly more than mine. If you are or know a locomotive enthusiast, this would be a very generous, unique and thoughtful gift! Small split to top of vol 1's hinge (see photo) but all bindings very tight and secure. Other MINOR wear, rubs, and nicks (see photos). Pages slightly age toned. Otherwise this set is in fantastic condition, especially for its age and rarity.
