According to what came with the patch, the council had just introduced a new design for the 1985 75th Boy Scout Anniversary DJ (Diamond Jubilee) patch and decided to keep it for their new regular issue. However the first group or run (loom is about 200 patches) came in with YELLOW men in the canoe rather than BROWN it was supposed to be. Some were sold before they were returned for the correction. This is one of those RARE issues and offered here in MINT condition. ***(Note- Council Patches are scanned sometimes while in their plastic bags so you may see glare or reflections or faded or folded areas because of the plastic.) COUNCIL SHOULDER PATCHES, CSP's, are mostly from an untouched 25 Year Old collection with items 20 to 50 Years OLD! A few newer issues from OTHER collections have been added.
