RARE Firestone Featherweight Bicycle 1960s 3 Speed Vintage Cruiser Decor READ

Description: This is a very rare Firestone bicycle I believe to date from the mid to late 1960s. It is in overall good condition given it's age with obvious wear from use and storage over the years. I have replaced both tires, both tire tubes, and both rim strips on this bike. The tires now take and hold air well. I have done some minor polishing to the chrome parts to remove surface rust. I used some fine grade steel wool and Brasso to do this. I only did a portion of the parts to see what kind of results I got. There are some spots where surface rust has gotten through the chrome layer, most notably on a few spots on the rims. I left a majority of the cleaning and polishing for the buyer to handle to their liking. The brake cables work but the brakes could be adjusted. The wheels wobble a bit in motion causing the brakes to rub some parts of the wheel more than others. The 3 speed system could use tuning and being gone through as it is not the smoothest and doesn't always switch gears well. The shifting handle tube has a break where it connects into the metal handle part. The pedals do not match, one is newer than the other, the older one may be original. It is missing a reflector on the back fender. The kick stand works but could be adjusted to allow the pedal some more clearance. It shows a good amount of rust. I am including 2 tires and a tire tube that it had when I purchased it. They are Firestone branded and appear to be from around the time frame this bike was made, they could be the originals but could be newer. The 2 Firestone tires show dry rot and cracking, I would only recommend using them for display purposes. The old tire tube may not hold air.
