Description: RARE and Amazing Estate Find MAZER 1940s Ruby Rhinestone Statement Choker Necklace And Earrings. The necklace consists of seven large ruby red oval rhinestones on gold plated links complimented by smaller clear round and baguette rhinestones and connects to a flexible gold plated snake chain which closes with a snap clasp. The necklace has both yellow and white gold plating but is predominately yellow gold. The condition is good with some wear as would be expected primarily on the back connectors. It measures 15 1/2" X 3/4". The earrings are silver tone with a large clear rhinestone center surrounded by eight oval ruby red rhinestones that are the same color as the ones in the necklace. They measure 7/8" and are in excellent condition. Both the necklace and earrings came from the same estate and I believe they were worn as a set. The earrings are signed Mazer. The necklace is unsigned but based on the design elements and comparable necklaces, some of which are signed some not, it is attributed to Mazer.
