'Buck' Schiwetz (1898-1984) is a well respected, noted and listed artist who lived in Houston, Texas and is well known for depicting scenes from all parts of Texas. His original artwork is extremely valuable and his limited edition prints are becoming highly collectible. Full color print measures approx 22"x17" with a 17.5"x13" image size. The framed art measures approximately 24"x19" Framed in a rustic folk art hand carved wooden frame from the period. Additional Details - Framed offset print on paper, Mission San Francisco de la Espada, San Antonio, Texas, signed in the print lower right EM Schiwetz (Edward Muegge [Buck] Schiwetz, Texas, 1898-1984), dated [19]68 The original portfolio (still containing 3 other prints) is in our possession and was hand signed and dated by the artist in 1968 - we can provide photos to show provenance if requested.
