This is a mid century set of four metal folding chairs made by Hamilton Cosco. They are called the Gatefold chairs because of the unusual way the legs fold in. All 4 chairs are functional and sturdy, well suited for accommodating additional guests at your table or for using with your card table for a game night. It shows some signs of age and use, some scuffs and scrapes on the metal and seat, but are still very good looking. Each chair measures 17 inches wide, 15 deep and 31 inches tall. THESE ARE ONE OF A KIND 50's SET SO THE PRICE REFLECTS THAT, THESE ARE FOR THE COLLECTOR WHO ONLY ACCEPTS THE VERY BEST IN UNIQUE DESIGN, NOT THE USUAL 1950's SET OF CHAIRS!!! These Vintage Cosco gate fold chairs have a gold color metal frame with a tan textured seat. The chair when closed measures 32" tall x 16" wide x 4" deep. When opened the chair measures 30" tall at back and 18" tall at front x 16 1/2" wide x 15" deep. The actual seat measures 16 1/2" wide at front and 15" wide at back x 14 1/2" deep. The textured tan and brown vinyl seat covering is in excellent condition, no holes or rips. The metal gold color frame does show signs of wear and does have scratches on the back and minor surface rust on the legs. Overall the chair is very sturdy.
