Description: Introducing a RARE VINTAGE ML bore D. Calicchio New York Superior Bb Trumpet, professionally built by Dominic. This expertly crafted instrument features a medium-large bore size, brass body and bell material with a silver finish. The trumpet has three piston valves, nickel-plated valve material, and a thumb ring, finger hook, and water key. This standard type trumpet is ideal for expert players and has a beautiful silver finish. The trumpet is made in the United States and has a Bb key. The trumpet is in excellent condition and ready to play. The tuning slide just needs to be polished, and so does the entire horn I'm sure. Silver is very nice and at least 8 out of 10 as well. I did an alignment on this horn that is why the pads are different. Probably not perfect but free! Vintage D. Cavicchio Bb Trumpet built in probably the mid 40's. Serial number 1334. It is medium large bore and in silver plate. It has two patches. One on third valve slide and one on the bell bow. The previous owner said the patches were to protect some worn areas.
